Harrods to Acquire Temporary Space in Sardinia

TEMPORARY LUXURY: Harrods will inaugurate a temporary retail space in Porto Cervo, a luxury seaside resort on the island of Sardinia that is a jet-set favorite, according to a Harrods spokeswoman, who confirmed Italian press reports. The new store complex will be open throughout the summer and will be made of crystal and steel, with special areas set aside for refreshments and events. Qatar’s royal family, which owns Harrods, currently has four luxury hotels along Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda.
