PENCIL IT IN: This year’s CFDA Fashion Awards are set for June 6 in a new location — the Hammerstein Ballroom. After seven years at Alice Tully Hall, the event will be staged in what was once home to the Manhattan Opera Company. The new arrangement on 34th Street allows for a show and seated dinner. (One thing that hasn’t changed is the collaboration with Swarovski, which is in its 15th year.)

“We were able to elevate the awards significantly with the great stage at Alice Tully Hall,” said Steven Kolb, president and chief executive officer at the CFDA. “Over the years, people have asked us for a more social evening with dinner — The Hammerstein provides us with just that while also giving us a great stage.”
