Salvador Dalí on Display at Galeries Lafayette

Never-before-seen intimate snaps of the late artist will form part of a Dali-themed exhibition.

THE DALI SHOW: Never-before-seen intimate snaps of the late Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dalí and Gala, his wife and muse, will form part of a Dali-themed exhibition opening in Paris at Galeries Lafayette this Thursday, organized by Lancel in collaboration with the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí. The event will accompany the launch of Lancel’s new Daligramme Collection bag range inspired by an archive Dalí-inspired bag produced by the house in the Seventies. The original design featured a bike chain handle and a monogram canvas inspired by Dalí’s so-called Daligrams from the same era, which were composed of his and Gala’s initials as well as royal symbols. The new Lancel bag range includes 20 leather and jacquard styles plus small leather goods items and accessories.
