CHILD’S PLAY: Sunday was “Bring Your Daughters to Work Day” for Tina Lignell. The Finch & Partners PR greeted guests at the Alexis Mabille show in Paris flanked by her twin daughters, Ange and Aimée. Other guests also brought family and before long, the chandelier-dotted ballroom was filled with the sounds of children playing.
Prima ballerina Marie-Agnès Gillot arrived with Emma Rotenberg, the daughter of French television presenter Stéphane Rotenberg, with whom she works on dance talent show “La meilleure danse” (“The Best Dance,” in English) on cable channel W9. “It’s family and friends here today,” she smiled. The dancer will next appear on stage in Mats Ek’s “Apartment” at the Opéra Garnier and Rudolf Nureyev’s version of “La Bayadère” at the Opéra Bastille.
Aurélie Saada, of French music duo Brigitte, brought her daughters Shalom and Scarlett. The tots are fashion show veterans, having watched their mother perform at Viktor & Rolf last season. “We’re on tour until December, playing four or five nights a week. So when you see the kids on Sunday, you take them with you,” Saada said, before letting out a yelp. A small hand had just torn a large taffeta bow off the hip of her velvet dress.
