THE SPORTSWEAR REPORT: Stephen Colbert brought some comic relief to the ongoing discussion of the George Zimmerman verdict on The Colbert Report Tuesday night, stating that he could relate to President Obama’s comments on the plight of black males.
“I too have been followed around in department stores,” said the comic commentator. “Every time I walk into a Nordstrom’s, I’m approached by clerks offering to help me find the Tommy Bahama collection. Why? Just because I’m white and I’m going to buy something in a loose-fitting breezy plaid?
