THEORY’S WARHOLIAN MOMENT: Theory, which unveiled a new 2,850-square-foot store in Miami’s Design District last week, will celebrate the opening, during Art Basel Miami Beach, of its 19th store in the U.S. with a cocktail reception tonight hosted by Andrew Rosen, chief executive officer of Theory and Christie’s. Theory has partnered with Christie’s auction house and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to outfit the store in Andy Warhol prints. Ten percent of the proceeds from the evening’s sales will benefit the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.

The store, located at 101 Northeast 40th Street, is adjacent to a new Helmut Lang store that opened last week, as well. The Theory store, housed in a signature Art Deco building built in 1954, offers women’s wear, men’s wear and accessory collections.
