Thom Browne Hits London

Designer stages a musical happening at Harrods.

MUSIC MAN: Thom Browne swept into London for a brief, musical moment at Harrods on Saturday evening. The designer dressed 20 models in matching gray and white cotton seersucker suits, and lined them up in front of a vintage London Routemaster bus painted the Harrods shade of forest green. Above them, on the open top deck of the bus, Wolf Gang — the British band that’s touring with Coldplay this summer — performed a set under big black umbrellas to shield them from the rain.

Browne, who mingled with guests in the piazza outside Harrods, is off to Milan for the Moncler Gamme Bleu show and then onto Paris to show his signature collection.
