Italian luxury accessories brand Gianfranco Lotti has teamed with Tina Craig, founder of popular blog Bag Snob, on an exclusive collection.
The capsule includes different versions of the Otto Bag, a design which, paying tribute to the Eight, the lucky number in the Chinese culture, is an evolution of the octagon geometric shape.
All created with the brand’s signature artisanal craftsmanship, the bags, which feature Gianfranco Lotti’s key-lock detail, come in a cross-body style and in a tote version. They are decorated with intarsia motifs of sunsets, as well as color blocking in vibrant tones of reds and pinks, combined with black.
“For me, this is an energetic, innovative and eye-catching collection with unusual colors and shapes,” Craig said. “This collection is inspired by the memories of a happy, serene childhood. The image of the sunset at the end of a lovely day always makes us smile.”
“We are enthusiastic about this collaboration with Tina. Her feminine and contemporary style has always been a point of reference for us,” said Gianfranco Lotti. “This collaboration demonstrates how two different cultures, sharing the same values, such as attention to the quality of materials, details, craftsmanship and women’s needs, can harmoniously collaborate to create unique and unconventional products.”
The collection will be available exclusively at Net-a-porter and at Gianfranco Lotti flagships in Milan and Florence starting in early December.
