HILFIGER PARTIES IN TOKYO: Tommy Hilfiger and his wife, Dee, hosted a packed opening party for the designer’s new flagship in Tokyo on Monday night. The Hilfigers posed for a series of group snaps with local celebrities and models at the store before decamping to Yoyogi Village, a new retail-restaurant complex, for an after party. There, DJ Cassidy manned the turntables as guests noshed on deep-fried nuggets of foie gras, mini apple pies and brownies. Guests included model Tao Okamoto, who is one of brand’s newest faces, as well as Jessica Alba.
The actress, in town with her husband, Cash Warren, and their two small children, has been enjoying the kid-friendly aspects of the city, doing some shopping and visiting parks. Alba said she had just finished work on an independent film and she is spending a lot of time on her new business, The Honest Co., which sells online eco-friendly cleaning, personal care and baby products. “We just closed our Series A [financing] round,” she explained. “I have been working on it for three-and-a-half years and now I have an office.”
