Toms Shoes Taps Tracy Feith

After months of consulting for the brand's founder Blake Mycoskie, the designer has officially joined the Los Angeles-based company full-time.

TOMS SIGNS FEITH: After months of consulting for Toms Shoes’ founder Blake Mycoskie, Tracy Feith has officially joined the Los Angeles-based company as a designer. He will focus on Toms+, a new label that hits better specialty stores this fall. With retail prices ranging from $104 to $140, the new kicks are pricier than the typical Toms, but the philanthropic commitment remains the same. For every pair of shoes that is sold, the company will donate a pair of shoes to a person in need. Even though Feith is on board full-time, Toms has no plans to introduce a full-fledged clothing line, said senior vice president of marketing Doug Piwinski.
