TRIFECTA: Winter Wren Hodges opened his third Atlanta store last week in the trendy Virginia-Highlands area. The new 2,000-square-foot footwear and accessories boutique, William Wren, complements his two apparel and accessories stores on the same block. They are Winter Wren, which opened in November with 700 square feet featuring Free People and other brands, and 310 Rosemont, a 2,300-square-foot men’s and women’s store that opened in 2011 offering Haute Hippie, Elizabeth and James, Alice + Olivia and other labels.
Imprinting his own personality into his stores, Hodges often includes fixtures, jewelry cases and other items that once belonged to his grandparents in Tennessee. William Wren, for example, makes use of barn doors. Other decor in the new boutique includes Hodges’ own print upholstery on seating and as decorative spaces. William Wren offers brands for men and women, ranging from Nike and Sperry to Michael Kors, Steve Madden, Ugg, Frye, Marc Jacobs and Kate Spade. In addition to footwear and handbags, William Wren also offers luggage, computer bags and briefcases and sunglasses. Merchandise is highlighted in cubbyholes. The store also has a bar area.
