Choreographer Jerry Mitchell to Be Honored at Jeffrey Fashion Cares

Cyndi Lauper will present the Tony Award winner with the Community Leadership Award at the 10th annual fund-raiser and fashion show in New York on April 2.

TRUE COLORS: Cyndi Lauper will present Tony Award-winning choreographer Jerry Mitchell with the Community Leadership Award at the 10th annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares fund-raiser and fashion show on April 2 aboard the Intrepid museum. Over the past decade, the event has raised more than $4 million for the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America, Point Foundation, Hetrick-Martin Institute and Lambda Legal. Longtime event chairs Jeffrey Kalinsky, Todd Sears and Dan Rothman have set a goal of raising more than $1 million at the upcoming event. They are joined this year by new cochairs William Li, senior vice president at Ralph Lauren Home, and David Wu, a luxury goods analyst at Telsey Advisory Group.
