FASHION HONORS: The U.K. Fashion and Textile Awards has unveiled its judging panel and presenters for the 2015 awards, which are set to take place May 21 at east London’s Tobacco Dock venue.
The judging panel will be made up of designers Henry Holland and Patrick Grant; journalists and editors Colin McDowell, Melanie Rickey, Alister Mackie of Another Man and Lou Goddard of ShowStudio; blogger Suzie Lau of Style Bubble; Heather Melville of the Royal Bank of Scotland and Anita Barr, group fashion buying director at Harvey Nichols. The models Jack Guinness and Amber Le Bon will present the awards.
John Miln, ceo and company secretary of the U.K. Fashion and Textile Association said the awards aim to honor “some of the most innovative people in British fashion and textiles.” Categories include awards for designer business, accessories, men’s wear, women’s wear, children’s wear, retailer and textiles. Previous winners at the UKFT Awards include Christopher Raeburn, House of Holland, Matchesfashion.com and Margaret Howell. The awards’ headline sponsor is the U.K.’s NatWest bank.
