Vanessa Bruno Teams up With Biotherm

L’Eau, a limited-edition perfumed mist, will launch in France on Oct. 17.

EAU DE VANESSA: Vanessa Bruno is adding one more category to her expanding empire: Fragrance. The French designer is teaming up with Biotherm to launch L’Eau, a limited-edition perfumed mist, marking the first time the L’Oréal-owned brand has joined forces with a fashion designer. Developed by perfumer Bernard Ellena, the scent will launch in France on Oct. 17, priced at 42 euros, or $60 at current exchange rates. Bruno recently designed her first children’s wear collection for La Redoute’s fall catalog and told WWD she was mulling a more permanent kids’ line.

In related news, L’Oréal has named Patrick Kullenberg as international general manager of Biotherm, succeeding Charlotte Franceries who will take maternity leave before returning to new operational functions within the group in 2012, WWD has learned. Kullenberg was worldwide general manager at Kiehl’s until January 2010. He will report to Nicolas Hieronimus, managing director of the Luxury Products Division. The appointment is effective this month.
