Vestiaire Collective is debuting a "Wanted" functionality to help users track down hard-to-find items.


LOST AND FOUND: Vestiaire Collective, billed as Europe’s largest e-tailer of pre-owned fashion and accessories, is adding an exclusively developed functionality to help users track down elusive items.

The “The one that got away” function, launching Oct. 20, is designed to put the site’s subscribers looking for a given item — which may be sold out or from a previous season, for example — in touch with someone who might be selling it.

The user uploads a photo of their coveted article, which is revealed to Vestiaire Collective’s 3.8 million members around the world, who can respond by clicking “I’m selling it.”
