BLAST FROM THE PAST: Victoria Beckham has been making waves on the Internet after songs from an unreleased hip-hop album surfaced on YouTube.
In 2003, the designer collaborated with Roc-A-Fella cofounder Damon Dash, who has worked with artists including Jay Z and who was previously partners with Jay Z in Rocawear before launching his own men’s wear line as well as becoming involved in other fashion ventures. Beckham and Dash made an LP called “Come Together.”
The album resurfaced after tracks were auctioned on eBay last month.
Beckham left the Spice Girls in 2000, and worked on solo music projects with songs including “You’re Out of Your Mind” and “Not Such an Innocent Girl.” She then turned her hand to fashion in 2004 with her women’s wear line and opened her first flagship in London in 2014.
A spokesperson for her fashion house declined to comment on the tracks.
The mother of four and wife of former soccer player David Beckham recently posted pictures of sons Brooklyn and Romeo, who will be featured in the June issue of Vogue Me.
