Viktor & Rolf Doll Exhibit Hits Toronto

The show features 31 looks from the label's past collections.

ALL DOLLED UP: The “Viktor & Rolf Dolls” exhibition just opened in Toronto, at the Royal Ontario Museum, as part of Canada’s Luminato Festival.

The show features 31 dolls, five of which were newly made in Amsterdam and have never been seen before by the public, on a doll-scale catwalk.

Designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren selected one key look from each of their collections that were then recreated in their atelier for the porcelain dolls. Every aspect of the chosen look — from the dolls’ eyes, makeup and hair to the textiles, fashions and accessories involved — were scaled down to create exact replicas of the originals that made their way down the runway.

The Toronto show runs through June 30.
