VIVA MEXICO!: After Asia, Elie Saab plans to conquer the Americas. In early June, the Lebanese designer will open his first store in the region, a shop-in-shop at Saks Fifth Avenue in the Santa Fe district of Mexico City. The boutique, to be located on the first floor of the department store, will carry women’s ready-to-wear, including eveningwear, and accessories. The Mexico City store will be the brand’s sixth unit worldwide, and its second shop-in-shop after the one in Harrods.

Elie Saab has freestanding boutiques in Beirut, Paris, Dubai and Hong Kong, and plans to have between eight and 10 units in total by the end of the year.
