ON A ROLL: Wanda Nylon — the hip Parisian label with rainwear origins — is collaborating with French mail-order giant La Redoute on a capsule collection.

The five-piece line consists of a tuxedo dress, a tuxedo jumpsuit, a translucent trench, a vinyl shirt and vinyl pants.

The pieces will be available starting mid-June on La Redoute’s web site, with prices ranging from 70 euros, or $78 at current exchange, for the shirt to 190 euros, or $212, for the trench.

“To work on the democratization of my style, I selected the most iconic items of my brand — like the trench, for example,” said Wanda Nylon founder and creative director Johanna Senyk. “It was really important for me and essential to find Wanda Nylon DNA in this collection and to offer a little exclusivity to it.”

Sofia Malamute lensed model Jamie Bochert sporting the collection for the visuals that will appear online.

Other fashion names to have already collaborated with La Redoute include Vanessa Bruno, Anthony Vaccarello, Courrèges and Carven.

Wanda Nylon was also in the news earlier this week, when it was shortlisted to vie for the ANDAM Fashion Award.
