Lacoste Sponsoring Tennis Clinic in Central Park

Players John Isner, Murphy Jensen and Denis Kudla will be on hand at the special clinic to launch the U.S. Open Championships.

WARMING UP: Lacoste-sponsored players John Isner, Murphy Jensen and Denis Kudla will join City Parks Foundation in welcoming New Yorkers of all ages and talents to play tennis in a special clinic in Central Park to launch the U.S. Open Championships. Participants will have to a chance to learn from the pros as well as compete for giveaways, courtesy of Lacoste. The event takes place Aug. 24 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Central Park Tennis Center at 96th Street and Central Park West. Francis Pierrel, president and chief executive officer of Lacoste North America, will also be on hand that day.

Lacoste is the official apparel sponsor of CityParks Tennis, which provides free tennis lessons to thousands of kids ages 6 to 16 each year in nearly 40 parks throughout the five boroughs.
