WHAT WINTER BREAK: Mark Badgley and James Mischka don’t seem to be taking advantage of the preholiday slowdown. The designers unveiled their pre-fall collection and launched Badgley Mischka e-commerce Tuesday. Aside from extending the label’s reach throughout the U.S., the ramped-up site aims to capture more shoppers in the Middle East and China, where the pair have 13 stores and counting. The site sells accessories, ready-to-wear, bridal and everything in between. Visitors can also check out snapshots of celebrities wearing the label on the red carpet or watch a video of the Badgley Mischka runway show. The designers became so engrossed in the site’s whistles and bells that they had to be reminded they need to focus on preparing for their February runway show.
