WHAT’S NEW FOR SPRING: As the new year gets under way, news about where some of the big fashion designers are having their fashion shows in February has started to leak out. According to sources, both Diane von Furstenberg and Michael Kors are exiting The Theatre at Lincoln Center and will be showing at Spring Studios at 50 Varick Street in TriBeCa. Representatives at DVF and Kors didn’t return phone calls seeking comment on Friday afternoon. But sources said DVF will be shown at Spring Studios on Feb. 9 at 5 p.m., one hour later than in past seasons, while Kors will show there on Feb. 12 at 10 a.m.
Last season, Calvin Klein had the Spring Studios space exclusively for women’s Collection fashion show, and threw a party that evening at the same venue to celebrate Francisco Costa’s 10-year anniversary at the helm of women’s Collection. Klein has confirmed it will return to Spring Studios to show the fall collection on Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. on the sixth floor.

Sources said a few younger designers will also be showing at Spring Studios in February on different floors of the building.
In the meantime, Vera Wang has confirmed she is also moving off-site and will be showing at the Dia Center for the Arts in Chelsea on Feb. 11 at 11 a.m.
