FINE FETTLE: New York-based fine jewelry designer Wilfredo Rosado is aiming to build his made-to-measure activity, and as such has chosen to show his third collection in Paris, where he will be presenting a collection built around emeralds, diamonds and leather on Monday. “For the collections I’m creating, that type of customer likes a one-on-one meeting.

That’s why I wanted to come to Paris,” said Rosado, who is known for his quirky, urban interpretation of fine jewelry, and worked with Andy Warhol and Giorgio Armani before creating his jewelry business. For his custom clients, Rosado plans to open a studio in Manhattan, somewhere around Fifth Avenue, in the spring. Rosado has approximately 10 retail clients, including Bergdorf Goodman, Harrods and Lane Crawford.
