Louis Vuitton Creates Bespoke Trophy Case for 24 Hours of Le Mans

Organizers of the endurance race commissioned the case to mark its 90th anniversary.

WINNER TAKES IT ALL: Revving up its ties to the elite automobile world, Louis Vuitton has created a bespoke trophy case in its signature monogram canvas for 24 Hours of Le Mans. Organizers commissioned it to mark the endurance race’s 90th anniversary.

It was unveiled in Paris on Friday along with a special art car. The next race is scheduled for June 22 and 23 in Le Mans, France.

The trunk, in Vuitton’s signature monogram, was created in its workshops in Asnières, and was overseen by Patrick-Louis Vuitton, who heads up its special orders division. Vuitton has also created trophy cases for the America’s Cup and the FIFA World Cup.
