Woodley & Bunny Shutters L.A. Location

The Brooklyn-based apothecary-salon concept first brought its mix of beauty products to West Third Street starting in 2012.

CLOSING DOWN: Brooklyn apothecary-salon concept Woodley & Bunny has shuttered its Los Angeles outpost. Misha Anderson, chief executive officer, president and co-owner of Woodley & Bunny, explained, “Our lease was up and the location we felt needed to be reconsidered. Initially we had taken over the space as it was opportunistic.” Woodley & Bunny brought its mix of beauty products to West Third Street in L.A. starting in 2012. Anderson hasn’t given up on the city and said she plans to return to its retail scene. “We had a great following there,” offered Anderson. Woodley & Bunny’s Brooklyn location opened in 2005 and is widely known for bringing upstart beauty brands from around the world to its shelves. Among those carried by Woodley & Bunny are Brad Biophotonic, Cosmetics 27, Indie Lee, Ellis Faas, Ilia, S.W. Basics, Christophe Robin, RMS, Imperial Barber, Kjaer Weis and EarthTuFace.
