Suits in general have been in heavy rotation on the runways of late. Pairing matching jackets and shorts is the latest trendy twist, which has carried over from spring to fall. With its roots inextricably linked to office attire, the new short versions of the suitread all the more whimsical and, granted, editorial.But as Nanette Lepore says, “The restrictions on suiting have been lifting. A lot of people who you thought were always in a classic tailored suit are able to be more playful with it.” That said, the suitsare sold as separates.
