Partially inspired by Zuccarini’s own impending nuptials to Vanity Fair publisher Edward Menicheschi next month in St. Barth’s, and partially a logical expansion of the label, the bridal collection consists of about 15 pieces, not all of which look like they were designed for the traditional trousseau. “It’s always nice to offer white lingerie, but even with weddings it’s not always about white anymore,” said Zuccarini, who is designing her own wedding ensemble — a suit with lace pants, in ivory. “Pink has been an important bridal color, and also touches of black, so I felt like we could be more open with our color palette. And you can wear the lingerie after the wedding.”
Among the more traditional items in the range, which launches in June and will retail from $45 to $500, are white French lace bras, panties and garter belts, but there’s also a mint green high-waisted panty with black lacing, and a pink chiffon romper. Zuccarini is also launching custom services, wherein a bride can provide excess material from her dress or veil to be made into a lingerie set.
