Pink, the Victoria's Secret subbrand, is college bound with a new collection for the student body.

Sweatpants, hoodies, panties, T-shirts and totes — cobranded with college logos — start selling Friday online at

On July 1, the collection, called the VS Pink Collegiate Collection, starts selling at 375 Victoria's Secret stores, which are near college and university campuses, as well as in the VS catalogues and in various campus bookstores.

There are also six Pink stand-alone stores with three more opening this year, some of which will also be selling the collection.

Initially, 33 universities from across the country, even Harvard, were picked for Pink, based on their regional appeal and large student and alumni populations. Other institutions going Pink include University of Alabama, UC Berkeley, Boston College, Texas A&M, the University of Arkansas, University of Miami and University of Oregon.

For the school project, Victoria's Secret worked with The Collegiate Licensing Company, which represents nearly 200 colleges, universities, bowl games and athletic conferences, as well as the Heisman Trophy and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Twenty-year-old Behati Prinsloo is the face of the VS Pink Collegiate Collection. Behati was born in 1989 in Namibia and started modeling in 2006.

Launched in 2004, Pink is considered a lifestyle collection for young women. The retailer has been steadily growing its range of products so it now includes bras, panties, sleepwear, sportswear, accessories, swimwear and beauty.
