Why they’ve done well: “[The cardigan] is 100 percent cashmere and a great light weight,” said Joseph Boitano, senior vice president and general merchandise manager. “[The dress] is on trend, novel and a great party dress for the holidays. It is also very iconic Alice + Olivia.”

Why they’ve done well: “These Ts are a great gift-giving item,” said fashion director Ann Watson. “Not only are they a personalized gift, but they are at a great price point. [The dress] is a chic, sexy and festive dress, perfect for holiday parties.”

Why they’ve done well: “[The dress is] perfectly festive and fun for the party season,” said Alison Loehnis, vice president of sales and marketing. “It is versatile, too, and it can be teamed with heels at night or dressed down with black opaque tights and ankle boots or flats during the day. This classic winter white coat looks chic with any outfit, and the three-quarter sleeves and lightweight fabric mean it will see you through until spring — just add extra layers throughout the winter. Ultimately, it’s a real investment piece that can be worn for seasons to come and at a great price, too.”

Why it’s done well: “This Grey Ant dress is perfect for the holidays,” said Erin Crandall, head buyer. “It’s classic, chic and sexy all at the same time. We love finding great items from edgy designers like Grey Ant that people know for denim and surprising them.”

Why they’ve done well: “The mirror shift dress is the perfect holiday piece — elegant, versatile, and sexy,” said Shira Dolinger, assistant buyer. “The Kritik terry suit is the perfect piece for holiday shoppers who will be vacationing in warmer climates. It’s bright and clean.”

Best-selling holiday items: Searle’s jewel-encrusted silk satin A-line dress with pockets and Searle’s cashmere-lined leather gloves.

Why they’ve done well: “[The dress is] selling well because the fabric is gorgeous, the jewels are great quality, the fit is superb, there are pockets, plus it’s a bit A-line so you don’t have to be a stick to wear it,” said Rick Weinstein, director of sales and marketing at Searle. “[The gloves are] selling because it’s cold outside, extra long gloves are hot and they are cashmere throughout. Plus, gloves make a great gift.”

Why they’ve done well: “This wrap cardigan’s fitted waist in a sea of baby dolls has made it one of holiday’s bestsellers,” said owner Stacy Pecor. “What’s more, stripes have been popular, and this combination of heather gray with neon yellow is not something our customers already have in their closets. These cashmere gloves are whimsical and girly. Their homespun vibe feels like a true gift from the heart. They make you smile every time you put them on.”
