While most companies are getting into a resort state of mind, Nina Ricci jumped the season on Tuesday, presenting its Les Envies lineup for spring 2014. The capsule collection, now in its third edition, is designed by Peter Copping and features many of the house’s Parisian codes at a slightly lower price point (from $475 for tops to $1,190 for coats). The spring collection is mostly fun and flirty with dresses done in whimsical prints such as rosebuds and birds, and lace appearing on tops and as trimmings. Coats, cropped pants and a cute little top-and-short set are in geometric motifs, and while there’s plenty of black and white, many of the 50 pieces come in happy shades of pink.
