NEW YORK — Sweetness permeated spring-summer at the Nouveau Collection show in the form of sherbet-hued dresses, jackets and separates.
The show, which ran from Sunday to Tuesday at the New Yorker Hotel here, attracted about 1,700 buyers, matching last year, said Nouveau Collection producer Joanne Feinstein. There were 140 labels, including Bkg & Company, Cartise, Surrealist/Free Lunch, Fresh Tea, Iridium Apparel, Krista Lee, Mycra Pac, Nicola Berti, Sacred Threads, Trimdin, Winding River and Zoe Designs. Many lines were selling spring merchandise for immediate delivery, as well as showing summer.
