Jill Jill Stuart, a diffusion line, will launch its e-commerce Web site on Thursday.

Jilljillstuart.com will open with holiday merchandise, and the site will be refreshed with new merchandise about every two months. The creative direction of the site is led by Buero New York, a boutique design agency founded by creative director Alex Wiederin. Design and implementation was handled by Nex9, and photography was done by Amy Troost.

The home page will highlight the latest Jill Jill Stuart holiday campaign, shot by Troost in New York. A series of five images will fade in and out on a loop. The Web site is designed to be user friendly with easy navigation. For instance, instead of the typical multipage/multistep checkout process on many e-commerce sites, the site will have one easy step and one page.

Jill Jill Stuart, which was launched in 2012 as a diffusion line to Jill Stuart, consists of cocktail and evening dresses. The diffusion line has retail prices ranging from $228 to $398.

Jill Jill Stuart is sold to such stores as Nordstrom, Macy’s and Lord & Taylor, in addition to small boutiques across the country and the Jill Stuart flagship in SoHo. Internationally, Jill Jill Stuart is available in 17 countries. Stores include Holt Renfrew in Canada, Karstadt in Germany, Arnotts in Ireland and Sauce in Dubai.

Jill Stuart plans to launch an e-commerce Web site for its signature sportswear line in fall 2014.
