NEW YORK — Stacy Lastrina has been promoted to chief marketing officer of Jones Apparel Group Inc., a new post.
Lastrina had served as executive vice president of marketing and creative services since August 2007. She continues to report to Wesley R. Card, president and chief executive officer of Jones.
Lastrina joined Nine West Group in 1991 as director of marketing. In 1999, Jones acquired Nine West Group.
During her tenure, Lastrina has been instrumental in many Jones initiatives, including the launch of JNY Signature, Rachel Rachel Roy, the development of Jones New York in the Classroom and Jones Apparel Group Green projects.
“Stacy is an exceptional marketing executive who brings a history of proven results and demonstrated leadership to this important role. Her energy, enthusiasm and creativity, as well as her passion for all of Jones’ brands, are key drivers in our success,” said Card.
“I was touched by the fact that she lost her father, really before his time, and it was a real shock. She had two young children, she was married and she was expecting that she would have her own life for a good 25 years,” said Claire Foy about playing a young Queen Elizabeth in Netflix’s The Crown.
