LONG BEACH, Calif. — Surfer girls are looking to make a statement in and out of the water in the spring.
At the Agenda Show held earlier this month here at the Long Beach Convention Center, swim labels and action sports brands presented bright colors and bold prints in their collections for next year. The predominant silhouette in swimwear was a Neoprene top paired with boyshorts and bikini bottoms. Maillots and monokinis were rare sightings. Plus, more trends crossed over from sportswear to swim, as designers cut cropped tops and leggings out of nylon-Lycra fabric.
Alberta Ferretti's "Rainbow Week" sweaters are back. The designer closed her #MFW show with a few day-of-the-week sweaters, which first debuted on the catwalk last January as part of the pre-fall 2017 collection. #wwdfashion (📷: @delphineachard)
