Y-3 will open a 1,500-square-foot store in Aventura Mall in Aventura, Fla. on March 19.

The store will be located on the ground level in the center, and will carry the spring collection. London provides the central theme of the line, in honor of the host city’s upcoming 2012 Summer Olympic games. Designed by Yohji Yamamoto, the collection offers classic English checks, graphic Mod-era prints and work wear.

Y-3 launched its first spring collection in 2003, blending Adidas’ sports expertise with Yamamoto’s signature sense of style.

The shop will be designed in a contemporary black, white and orange minimalist style, featuring high ceilings and TV screens mounted on the walls, showcasing the current fashion show and ad campaign. It will carry women’s and men’s apparel, footwear and accessories.

The Aventura store marks Y-3’s eighth unit in the U.S. Other Y-3 stores are located in New York (three units); Las Vegas; South Beach, Fla.; Chicago; Los Angeles, and Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Calif.
