Newcomer Alon Livne made the decision to show his collection in New York just two weeks ago. With an established business in Tel Aviv, and early gigs at McQueen (as an intern) and Cavalli, Livne decided it was time to enter the world stage. He presented a darkly beautiful and wonderfully constructed collection of evening looks inspired by J.G. Ballard’s “The Crystal World.” Gowns, tops, skirts and pants were sleek and mainly sheer with crystal details and geometric opaque inserts, while simple black pantsuits looked well-tailored and chic.

"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
