Tennessee is home to Music City, so it’s no surprise that in troubled times creative directors Johan and Marcella Lindeberg took the harder, darker side of the city’s southern rock roots as muse. The first looks out about covered it for both women and men — studded and fringed leather, dirty denim trimmed with grommets, zippers or acid-washed, as well as American flag Ts and plaid shirts. The single point that felt new was the more pronounced presence of suiting, that minus the flashy-trashy embellishment on most of it, offered a nice clean edge to the roughed-up denim.
