IMG Fashion and DHL have revealed the 2014-2015 finalists of DHL Exported, a program aimed at assisting designers who are already successful locally to gain momentum internationally.
Designers applied to expand their businesses to one of four key retail markets with an export-development strategy that includes shipping and logistics assistance and marketing and public relations support, along with an enhanced social and digital platform that will include an e-commerce portal to support sales for the winning designer’s collection. The program received more than 150 applicants from 35 countries.
DHL Exported will provide a venue and production costs for four winners, including a model package, to show their collections on the schedule for two consecutive seasons at one of the following trade events: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week or Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo. DHL will underwrite all logistics costs of producing the collection, including international shipping and exporting of fabrics and supplies, as well as exporting the collection to one of four cities for the show.
The finalists for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York are Yasutoshi Ezumi, Francesca Liberatore and Katty Xiomara Santos. Finalists for London Fashion Week are Lala Berlin, Hakaan and Sid Neigum. Finalists for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo are Sibling International, House of Holland and Todd Lynn, and finalists for Milan Fashion Week are Pyer Moss and Nicholas K. One winner will be selected for each venue by a panel of judges in each market.
The DHL Exported program is supported by the British Fashion Council, Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana and Japan Fashion Week Organization.

She had two young children, she was married and she was expecting that she would have her own life for a good 25 years,” said Claire Foy about playing a young Queen Elizabeth in Netflix’s The Crown.
