Loft’s spring collection, presented at the New Museum, hinged upon six key trends, the “super six,” as senior fashion director Alia Ahmed-Yahia said before ticking them off in the company’s branded language: “the blouse is back,” “a fresh T,” “the leg-lengthening trouser,” and so on. It all amounted to a casual look of easy shirts, some striped, some solid, paired with of-the-moment staples, such as trenches and tailored pieces with military touches.
