A combination of Chloé’s Paris roots and designer Clare Waight Keller’s English pedigree, plus a little bit of David Bowie, reverberated through the fall See by Chloé lineup. It all emphasized what the spokesman for the house said Keller called the triple Ps: pretty, party and preppy. Tweeds and mannish pinstripes captured the old English vibe, while quilted sweatshirts and shorts demonstrated a Parisian nonchalance. As for the Bowie reference, a bright pink, faux-fur coat channeled his glam rock spirit.
