A retro wave is hitting the surf industry next summer in the form of Anna Sui’s 16-piece collection for O’Neill.
Inspired largely by the Bohemians of Laurel Canyon from the Sixties and Seventies, the collection will include embroidered dresses, printed bell-bottoms for the beach, retro-inspired bikinis and sandals featuring Sui’s signature butterfly motif. The New York-based designer also will resurrect silhouettes and prints from some of her past runway collections for the new assortment, to be called Anna Sui for O’Neill.
