An array of bright young trends dominated Old Navy’s fall women’s collection. Plucky argyle sweaters, wide wale corduroy shorts and colorful hosiery made for a vintage-preppy look, while zipper and stud details took basic Ts and denim in a rocker chic direction. And clean, classic neutrals, such as layered knits in camel and gray, offered a calm palette cleanser.
For men’s, the focus was on wearable sportswear that hit all the high spots of the fall season: argyle sweaters, plaid woven shirts, washed logo Ts and both clean and distressed denim. Two new additions were slimmer-fit jeans for $39.50 and a cream-colored denim offering, the latter designed to appeal to the more fashion-forward customer.
