Riffs of jaunty Charleston music drifted over the East River this past weekend from the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governors Island as faux flappers from New York City and the surrounding area kicked up their heels and raised icy St. Germain cocktails — the prohibition-era party’s official sponsor — in celebration of all things Roaring Twenties.
