Echo Park, the artsy neighborhood on Los Angeles’ eastside, holds a bi-annual craft fair that draws fashionable locals shopping for holiday gifts (California pottery or artisinal jam, anyone?) while showing off their best weekend looks.

Among them were vintage high-waisted jeans, long coats and chunky knits. The most popular accessories were hats–both knit beanies and Western-style wide-brimmed felt numbers. Adding to the Wild West vibe were neck scarves and boots along with cross-body bags.

Even though it is “winter” in Southern California, there are always a few Angelenos who dress as though it’s still summer. But most took advantage of the below-70-degree temperatures to throw on their outerwear, from furs to trenches.

Parents also got extra points for dressing their mini-me’s in matching sweaters and tops. The whole look screamed, “I woke up like this,” but in reality, there’s likely a good deal of family planning involved.
