Palace Square and the Nevsky Prospect, which mark the vibrant historic center of St. Petersburg, are home to cafés and shops that attract young, great-looking, on-the-go locals. To brave the Baltic chill, these impressively dressed residents sported an array of boots (some men, however, opted for sneakers — often worn without socks) and attire ranging from edgy to urbane: shearling, fur, padded parkas, neat knit caps, oversize eyewear and the occasional Chanel bling.
