Hugo Boss has named Gary Flynn, vice president of merchandising for the Americas, a newly created position. He will report to Mark Brashear, chairman and chief executive officer of the Americas, and lead product-related initiatives across all channels throughout the region. Flynn had been with Nordstrom since 1984, serving as its national merchandising manager from 2006 to 2011. During his time with the retailer, Flynn developed strategies leading to improvements in profit margin, and was instrumental in acquiring exclusive and unique brands for the company. He will be based in New York City.
