NEW YORK — Exhibitors at international textile shows here in the last two weeks said buyers were ready to move beyond the recession but are still wary about boosting the volume of their orders.

Suppliers at Première Vision Preview, Texworld USA, Prefab: The Supima Premium Fabric Show and Kingpins said more definitive signs of a consumer spending rebound need to emerge for buyers to lock in substantial increases in merchandise.
