New York textiles week kicked off July 14 with a few sweet announcements — from a partnership between Première Vision and the CFDA to a full-on runway show in the upcoming Milano Unica exhibition. Still, the fabrics were the real scoop. On the menu for fall 2010: a little bit of everything. The cream of the fabric crop ran the gamut — from artsy and innovative to tried and true — as mills and textile designers balanced smart business with creativity.
