"The whole collection came from the fact that I am obsessed about walking," said Jimmy Choo creative director Sandra Choi, whose runway soundtrack opened with the sound of heels clacking on pavement.

Models on a raised circular platform did a 360 around the assembled guests seated below, sporting traditional styles delivered with contemporary treatments.

Standouts included brogues daubed with colorful, airbrushed graffiti plus more refined versions with extended toecaps in contrast woven leathers. The lineup also included patent creeper loafers, rubber-soled Chelsea boots and high-top sneakers in gold or embellished with more of that rainbow-hued spray paint.

"The Mayfair playboy is stepping out of his comfort zone," said Choi, "He's smart but a little street, and the collection is a balance of the both."
