Ksubi willintroduce its first ophthalmic eyewear range at the Mido Milan and Vision Expotrade shows this month and next. Designed by Ksubi cofounder George Gorrow, theprescription frames will join the Australian fashion brand's growing sunglassesbusiness, which currently accounts for about 10 percent of total company sales.
The debutophthalmic collection includes nine styles and 40 SKU's, including acetate andtitanium options. The frames are made in Japan using Japanese materials, as isthe existing sunglasses collection. The newest Ksubi sun collection includes alimited-edition style designed by DJ Tiga, and the company is currentlycollaborating with Kanye West on an eyewear range to accompany the upcoming launchof the musician's long-delayed Pastelle men's wear line.
